The Registrar General's Department (RGD) has the following policy regarding delivery of certificates and products. RGD may update this policy whwnever it deems it fit and the details of which will be lodged at our website.

Definitions

• In this Policy the following terms shall have the following meaning except where the policy otherwise requires:-
   “Applications”: These are completed forms requesting copies for certificates. Applications are submitted online via the RGD website, www.rgd.gov.jm or at any of the eight RGD locations.
• “Products”: All articles, commodities, goods produced by the Registrar General’s Department. This does not include certificates.

The Registrar General’s Department processes applications for certificates and delivers them to the address stated on the application form.

Jamaican Customers

• Ordinary Service
  Applications submitted on the ordinary service will be processed and delivered within 2-4 weeks of payment.
• Seven Day Service
  Applications submitted on the Seven Day Service will be processed and delivered within seven working days of payment.
• Express Service
  Applications submitted on the Express Service before 11:00 am on a regular business day will be processed and delivered within 24 hrs of payment. Applications submitted on the Express Service after 11:00 am on regular business day will be processed and delivered within 48hrs of payment.Applications received on Fridays or the day before a public holiday will be processed for delivery on the business day immediately following the weekend or public holiday. 

Orders from Outside of Jamaica

• Ordinary Service
  Applications submitted on the ordinary service will be processed and mailed within 4-6 weeks of payment. Certificates will be sent by registered mail and will be delivered to the address stated on the application form.
• Express Service
  Applications submitted on the Express Service will be processed and mailed within 7-10 business days of payment. Certificates will be sent by Federal Express (Fed Ex) to the address stated on the application.

Customers outside of Jamaica should allow two weeks mailing and delivery time.

All certificates are delivered by courier to the address stated on the application form. We will always contact you by phone or email if there are any delays with processing your application. You can also check the status of your application online on the applications page. 
The processing of your application will be delayed if you do not provide complete and accurate information on your application form.  You will be informed by phone or email if this happens and the Registrar General’s Department is free from any claims in respect of providing the said certificates within the prescribed time. Products
All products requested and paid for online via the Registrar General’s Department website will be delivered by courier to the address stated on the order form. All products will be delivered within 5-10 business days.
